How to choose an invoice template

Start an invoice by picking how it looks. Every card is a real preview with sample data, templates in higher plans are marked “Upgrade required”, and you can switch templates at any time without losing what you typed.
Change the colors, font and logo of your invoice

Pick the colors the template allows, change the document font (Professional plan and up), save your own copy marked “Custom”, and fix a logo that turns into a white box with the White logo switch. The original template is never changed.
Change the currency of an invoice (and why the tax resets)

Pick any currency by flag, code or name, and the amounts change right away. A currency also brings its own tax name, for example GST for the Australian dollar, so the tax rate returns to zero: choose the currency first, then set the tax.
Fill in an invoice by clicking on it, no long forms

Click Bill To to choose a saved client or type a new one, then click the issue date and the due date (7 days by default). Your company details and logo come from Settings, set once and used on every invoice.
Add items, tax and a discount to an invoice

Add items right on the invoice with description, quantity, unit and price, set a tax rate per item or for the whole invoice, add one discount, and keep the total in view with the Summary panel.
Save items once and reuse them: the Item Library

Sell the same things again and again? Save them once in the Item Library and import them into any invoice. An item saved in another currency is converted at today's rate (the original price is shown), and you can type your own price instead.

Show your bank account, let clients pay online by connecting a gateway on the Payment setup page, add formatted notes, a Verification QR that opens the real invoice online, an official signature and your social links. Signature and QR are available from the Professional plan; on Free they show as a preview and are not saved.
Send an invoice in your client's language (12 languages)

Choose the invoice language from twelve; the words on the invoice, PDF and email change, while your names, notes and item descriptions stay exactly as typed. Arabic reads right to left. Dates follow the language, or a country of your choice.
Write your own invoice email wording

See exactly what your client receives, then write your own subject and opening for new, paid and overdue invoices, with placeholders such as the client name, due date or total. Email wording is available from the Professional plan.
Send now, schedule, or repeat an invoice every month

Use the Ready to send checklist, save a draft, send now or schedule by choosing a later issue date, and set up a recurring invoice with a frequency, start date and end date. Recurring is available from the Professional plan.
Send yourself a test invoice before the real one

Send a test copy to your own inbox, from your own email address, marked TESTING so it can never be mistaken for a real invoice. Nothing is saved and no credit is used. Set your sending address first in Settings → Email sending. Available from the Professional plan.
Send an invoice on WhatsApp too

If your plan includes WhatsApp, switch on “Also send on WhatsApp” for a client with a phone number: the client gets a message with a button that opens the invoice, and the email is always sent too. You confirm the client agreed to receive messages, and they can reply STOP at any time. Without it, Share on WhatsApp opens a message you send yourself, free.
